Kona Modern

With the design of this contemporary Kuki'o Beach residence, DRD was privileged to embark on its fourth collaboration with the client. Departing from traditional island style, DRD created interiors with a clean, modern aesthetic. An inspiration point for the client was Nanea Golf Club (Architectural Digest, November 2006), a space on which Rosenfeld collaborated and which featured pieces inspired by Maxime Old. DRD drew on this streamlined style for the Kuki'o residence, incorporating original pieces by French mid-Century designer Charles Dudouyt.
